Location: Bear Creek Park at Pavilion 5 this year…just a bit east of Pavilion 6.
Choices are: hamburger, hot dog, salmon burger, veggie burger. Please let me know approximately how many of each kind you believe you will consume = )
Also bring a side dish to share, please!

For the kiddos we have an AWESOME water slide this year! The stairs are located within the protective confines of the “bouncy”…so the kids won’t have to walk on the grass to climb up and slide down again. There’s a shallow pool at the bottom and space for the littlest ones to splash around while the big kids are going up and down the slide. Remember to bring swim suits, sunscreen, floaties, as needed.
For the kids-at-heart (adults) feel free to bring badminton sets, horseshoes, Bocce ball, frisbees, soccer balls or whatever game you’re in the mood for.
And once again this year, we have several kittens that need good homes! If you are interested, bring a cat carrier to take your new addition home with you = ))

Arrive at 6:15 p.m. to take a 3 mile lap around Memorial Park or arrive at 6:00 to take a longer run in Memorial Park. Please wear your Strider gear and bring a friend. This is our Membership Drive meeting, so get ready to renew your membership.

The Strider Picnic is Coming Up – Saturday June 2nd
Looks to be a great picnic, complements of the wonderful planning of Pony Peterson. The picnic will be at Bear Creek Park at Pavilion 5 this year…just a bit east of Pavilion 6. 
There are plans on getting a bouncy house for Keith Willhelm (and the kids, too) and hopefully, one that has a water feature like a slide or sprinkler!
The menu will include burgers, hotdogs, as well as some veggie burgers and possibly salmon burgers.
WE NEED Volunteers: We need grilling volunteers and we need people to bring a dish to share…veggie/fruit, salads, beans, desserts.

A volunteer or volunteers are needed to set up and take down the Strider club tent
The tent (obtained from Chris) must be set up on Friday, March 2 from 8am-7pm and removed no later than 4pm on Saturday March 3
Must have a volunteer before February 22 or no tent will be set up.
